The city is known as the ‘Educational Hub’ of India. With the passage of time, we have developed a close partnership with the US Commercial Services office for US education promotion, Embassy’s from the selected EU countries,, the EU Commission, Vocational Education and Training agencies that are supported by the European Union, (EU) international associations for educational promotion , The Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India, universities , Colleges, training Institutes from the USA, Europe, and Asia.
As a non-traditional service, OECS has moved into students’ overall development before they embark on their new journey. This is to up-skills, deskill the gaps that are in academia and also making them to be responsible global citizens. Hence, OECS is in partnership with premier academic institutions, industry and business leaders to facilitate Social Innovation and entrepreneurial Labs . This is to support projects by students , researchers and the government that can aim at building social innovation. These Labs link education and innovation to solving societal challenges. Setting up of ‘ Living Labs’ based on European cross cultural learning is underway and will set the tone for youth to be responsible for global transformation.
